KTS Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Commences Phase 2 Projects Inspection

Katsina State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs has commenced a dual projects inspection mission across 34 LGAs of the state.

The dual projects inspection include the Phase 2 projects approved for Local Government Councils by the state Governor through the Ministry and the Constituency projects being carried out by members of the State House of Assembly from the Local Councils' funds.



The inspection Team led by the Director Administration and Supply of the Ministry Alhaji Salisu Yakubu had visited Kafur, Malumfashi and Musawa LGAs Wednesday 30/01/2024.

At Kafur LGA, the Team had inspected the construction work of a Half Bridge planned for a 1KM feeder road to be contracted for Kofan Tambu community and a drainage constracted at 'Yar Talata Village.

The Team also inspected 25 Solar Powered Street Lights already installed out of 34 planned to be provided across Makaurachi Village, but the remaining 9 were on ground for installation.

At Malumfashi town, the Team had inspected 3 Mono Pumps at JanTiti, 'Yan Tukwane  and Unguwar Amare out of 24 provides across the 12 Political Wards in the area.

While at Musawa LGA, the Team managed to inspect rehabilitation of a Dispensary at 'Yar Awala Village,250m long drainages at bub Marabar Musawa and Kira Villages.

The Team also inspected rehabilitation of GPSS Mosque at Jikamshi,  upgrading and Conversion work of a Mosque to Juma'at Mosque at Tsuntsaye Village.

Corrections regarding spme projects at LFAs so far visited were made by Directors accompanying the Team leader.

Chairman of the visited LGAs have registered appreciation and pledged to heed to the corrections so far made by the Inspection Team.
